Gaby Altuz model is a extra 260 35% (with only four six minutes flights for set-up sice they lost the one plane that was going to be used in competition just a few days before).
Paul and Ross Hollermann are identical twins flying identical planes. They are from Cold Spring, Mn. They are 19 years old and they put on quite a show. Their flying was definitely worth seeing.

Also in the January issue. Don't miss reading on the Hossier Dawn Patrol event celebrated at the IAC last year. In its third year at this location it was attended by 43 pilots that brough over 100 war machines.
Saturday turned out to be perfect flying day with sunny skies, mild temperatures and very low winds.
These competitors proved to be the cream of the crop 3D pilots in the world and they put up show that left expectator with their mouths wide open in disbelief. In the final scores top IMAC champion Jason Noll came on top followed by Seth Arnold. Third place was awarded to Ido Segeg from Israel, and fourth place was taken by a young Puertorican pilot, Gabriel "Gaby" Altuz. John Glezellis, Sean McMurtry and Nicholas Pinzon rounded up the top seven finalists. Following there is some of the video coverage courtesy of RCU and some of my photos.

Gabriel "Gaby" Altuz in his first appearance at the XFC, with the assistance of his father/caller put up a show of the highest caliber. His performance earned him a fourth place in an extremely competitive field of participants.
Way to go Gaby.

Saturday June the 27th. Converse hosted the Skyhawks for the first Open B combat meet. Hot Dogs and Burgers were served. all had a great time. Barry Blanton took half of Bob Parker's plane home, which incidentally was borrowed form Mike King. All in a days work.
